Dr. Christner is a successful educator, researcher, and leader. Her research interests focus on medical education and she has been the recipient of several medical education grants that have focused both on faculty development and novel curricula/assessment strategies. She has published widely in medical education. Dr. Christner has held a variety of national education leadership positions with organizations such as the Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics, the Alliance for Clinical Education and the American Association of Medical Colleges. She is also the recipient of several teaching awards.

Dr. Christner is CEO of Christner Strategies. With experts in accreditation, medical education curricula design, innovative competency-based assessment, simulation, interprofessional education and faculty development, Christner Strategies is your go-to source for creating novel and innovative curriculum as well as preparing for accreditation visits. Dr. Christner’s expertise in change management, organizational culture and emotional intelligence is applicable in numerous fields outside of medical education. She is known for giving presentations that engage her audiences. She has been invited for numerous speaking engagements nationally and internationally on medical education and motivational forward-thinking topics. She has an ability to read the room and change her material and focus as is needed for the particular audience. Her leadership style is that of a servant leader and is authentic, transparent and down to earth.
