Rob Wolfe and I met briefly at a virtual event and set a 1:1 on-line meeting shortly afterwards. At that 1:1, we realized that we were in similar work situations (i.e. balancing time between consulting work with an exciting new software startups) so we decided to meet in person when I was traveling near San Diego for some nearby client work. We enjoyed some beautiful weather in Orange County and learned more about each other’s opportunities for personal and professional growth and we have begun to make some connections for each other.
So far so good on both the advice / mastermind exchange, and also networking contacts, but it’s still pretty early. We hope to be able to share some more specific successes as a result of those networking introductions in the coming months.
