Experience & Standing
Member acknowledges that he/she is not currently facing any disciplinary actions from his/her licensing agency nor has Member had his/her license suspended or revoked.
Any information disclosed by or on behalf of Highrise Networks to the Member [during the Term] OR [at any time before, the termination of this Agreement] (whether disclosed in writing, orally or otherwise) that at the time of disclosure was marked [or described] as “confidential” or should have been understood by the Member (acting reasonably) to be confidential, shall be kept confidential by the Member and not shared with others.
Website and Social Media Release
Member hereby grants permission to Highrise Networks to use Members name, photos & contact information for email communications, our website & our social media posts. Member hereby releases Highrise Networks employees, managers, members, officers, parent companies, subsidiaries, and directors, from all claims and demands arising out of or in connection with any use of said items, including, without limitation, all claims for invasion of privacy, infringement of my right of publicity, defamation and any other personal and/or property rights. Member acknowledges and agrees that no sums whatsoever will be due to Member as a result of the use and/or exploitation of the stated items or any rights therein.
Except for when there is a permanent host, Member will host one meeting once per year and provide food and beverages for the meeting. For those Members who need additional space to host, Highrise Networks will help Member reserve a location by working with other Members of the group who have suitable space. Hosting does not apply to Virtual Only Groups (all NY Groups are 100% virtual at the present time).
Members may guest at other Groups provided that the visiting Member’s specialty is not in conflict with any Member of the Group they are visiting. Members can guest two times per year at each specific Group. For example, a Member of Dallas I may guest at Dallas II two times per year, Dallas III two times per year, Dallas IV two times per year, etc. Members may also guest at Groups outside of their market.
Each Member is allowed one Delegate to attend meetings. The Delegate must be from the Members firm and have the same area of focus as the primary Member.
Membership begins upon the date of your signed Membership Agreement and runs for a period of 12 months. Your Membership will expire 12 months after the first scheduled meeting date of the Group. Your Membership is fully refundable up until 10 calendar days after the first scheduled meeting date of your Group. Please notify us of your desire to cancel. Highrise will process your refund promptly after 30 days. During this time, you will be able to join us at group meetings, mixers, verticals, and webinars.
To remain a member of good standing, Highrise Networks requires consistent engagement in the monthly group meetings members are assigned to. There are 11 meetings per year, plus one regional meeting in December of each year. Members are expected to engage in a minimum of 8 out of 11 meetings each year. If a member misses 3 monthly meetings that member will automatically forfeit their group specialty status but will be able to attend verticals, community forums, panel discussions, and other events during the membership term. Exceptions occur when communicated to Highrise, the group chair, or planned in advance.
Membership renewal is at our discretion and is based upon a number of factors including meeting participation. Members who are not active and engaged will not be invited to renew.
Renewal Time Frame
Members are encouraged to renew their Membership at least 45 days prior to the expiration date. Highrise Networks has the right to replace a Member if their Membership dues are not received by this date.
All disputes arising out of or related to this agreement or the Member’s participation in a Highrise Networks group shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the State of California. The arbitration shall be subject to the Laws of the American Arbitration Association.
Highrise was built for member success. To provide a productive and safe environment for our membership, meetings may be virtual due to changes in conditions and/or for Host or Highrise liabilities. Highrise has the sole decision to continue virtual meetings for as long as necessary. Highrise reserves the right to change policies to benefit our membership community.
