STATEMENT TO MEMBERS
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

To remain a member of good standing, Highrise Networks requires consistent engagement in the monthly group meetings members are assigned to. There are 11 meetings per year, plus one regional meeting in December of each year. Members are expected to engage in a minimum of 8 out of 11 meetings each year. If a member misses 3 monthly meetings that member will automatically forfeit their group status with Highrise, but will be able to continue in a general membership capacity to attend verticals, community forums, panel discussions, and other events. Exceptions occur when emergencies create unplanned absences. When personal or professional circumstances prevent engagement, members have the responsibility to alert the Member Success and Engagement Team. The Member Success and Engagement Team has full discretion on excusing absences.

Highrise Steps To Enforce Group Engagement Policy

Step 1
If a member misses the 1st meeting they will receive an email saying, we missed you at your group meeting today and look forward to seeing you next month. If a member reaches out and explains the absence, then this absence and future expected absences up to 2, can be marked excused and the absentee steps start from the beginning. *There will be a modification to the attendance percentage on Salesforce 90% for each meeting missed.*

Additional planned and excused absences will result in the membership being paused and the member spot being released.

Step 2
If the member misses a 2nd meeting in a row, they will receive a call from a member of the Member Success and Engagement Team, and an email with the policy statement as a reminder. If a member reaches out for the first time and explains the absences, then this absence and the previous absence can be excused and future expected absences up to 1, can be marked excused and the absentee steps start from the beginning. *Attendance on Salesforce to 80%.*

Additional planned and excused absences will result in the membership being paused and the member spot being released.

Step 3
If the member misses a 3rd, unexcused meeting for the year and previous absences have not been excused, the member will lose their group specialty spot but can continue attending verticals, community forums, panel discussion, and other events.  The member will receive an automated or template email notification from the Senior VP of Member Success and Engagement. The member is removed from the group page but will remain on the website for the membership term.

*Under the discretion of the Sr. VP of Member Success and Engagement, the member will be placed in an alternate group, releasing the spot in the core group or the membership will be placed on hold for two months.
