Hatch & Associates, Inc. was founded by Verenia M. Hatch. The single mother of three boys, Ms. Hatch received her Bachelors of Science in Accounting and Business Administration with a minor in Management from the University of New Orleans in 2003. She began her career with a CPA firm in New Orleans, LA where she performed audits for nonprofit organizations, general bookkeeping, prepared financial statements and payroll services for small and local business and nonprofit organizations. She relocated to Dallas in 2005 where she worked for the Dallas County Auditor’s office for a year before transitioning to a local CPA firm in the DFW area.


There she performed audits for nonprofit organizations, prepared financial statements, general bookkeeping, payroll, analysis of internal controls systems, analysis of financial policies and procedures. She later opened her own firm in 2011. Ms. Hatch is active with many organizations around the DFW area including Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Urban League of Greater Dallas, National Association of Professional Women and the North Texas Business and Professional Woman’s league. Ms. Hatch is also fulfilling her passion and obligation to give back through her nonprofit organization, Overcoming Adversity. The organization is geared towards empowering women to see the beauty and strength in their scars and to achieve excellence in their personal lives, academics and professional careers.
