Diversity: beyond the obvious

When diversity is discussed in organizations, it often seems to refer only to a few key aspects of identity—typically race, gender and perhaps sexual orientation—and fails to be inclusive of many other important aspects that may be visible or invisible, such as education, socio-economic status, disability, neurodiversity, religion, family status, etc. What other aspects of diversity should we be highlighting and supporting in organizations? Where have you seen good examples of broader inclusion?
