Having built the global Customer Renewal organization at Planview in 2016, Tony has responsibility for strategic contract renewals across Planview's entire solution suite. This includes direct responsibility for cross-functional team building and management, customer interactions as well as legal, commercial and negotiation strategies and skills. Tony has a very high success rate for key metrics such as renewal percentage, price increases, multi-year agreements and on-time closure.
Prior to building the Customer Renewal organization, Tony built the global Customer Success organization, directing that team for approximately 7 years prior to launching the Customer Renewal team. The Customer Success organization consisted of 15 Customer Success Managers engaging 400 global, strategic customers.
Tony has over 40 years-experience in the IT Consulting, Software and Technology industry, which includes 23 years-experience growing a software company from emergent to world-class. In that time, he has filled roles such as software sales, business development, customer success and customer renewals working directly with the EVP and CEO. Prior to Planview, Tony spent several years in IT consulting with notable firms such as the U.K. based James Martin & Co.
