Rick Baum

Bankruptcy Attorney

Rick Baum has forty years of experience wading into federal and California courts as an attorney and litigator. For most of those years, he developed a specialty in bankruptcy law, representing debtors and creditors in cases arising under Chapters 7, 11 and 13. Rick provides all legal services necessary whether a client is in need of protection from creditors, or whether a creditor is in need of protection from a debtor, or whether the debtor is far from honest and unfortunate. Examples of his work include the reorganization of a 3/4-square mile parcel of “oil land” for sale of 20-acre ranchettes, the sale of 55 acres of contaminated oil refinery land in Santa Fe Springs, and representing a debtor not in possession who owned a large church, ultimately receiving over $10-million for the various factions of the debtor. He also takes care of mom-and-pop, and their wayward sons. Rick’s clients are mostly consumer debtors, some high asset individuals, business owners and landlords.
