Jason began his accounting and consulting experience in 1996. His focus is on serving technology, manufacturing and distribution, life sciences and entertainment companies, whether publicly traded or owned by private equity or venture capital. His experience includes two years as a professional accounting fellow in the Division of Corporation Finance at the SEC in Washington, DC, reviewing registrants periodic and registration filings. His fellowship gave him valuable experience with the commission’s evolving policies and procedures resulting from the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Jason brings particularly deep expertise in SEC reporting for multi-national companies with issues of revenue recognition, share-based compensation, Sarbanes-Oxley Act compliance, intangible assets, business combinations, convertible debt and IFRS. Jason also is an avid user of data visual and analytic tools such as Tableau, Monarch, with increasing experience in Alteryx, and Power BI.
