Previously, as Executive Vice President of Supply Chain Operations & Quality at Oclaro, Inc., Gray was responsible for the worldwide Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality at this $450M+ Tier-1 producer of high tech optical network systems and photonic components for the global telecom/datacom markets. As the Vice President Worldwide Supply Chain at Logitech, Gray revitalized the $2.5B company’s failing global supply chain function. He was responsible for installing and implementing a comprehensive Total Supply Chain Management System in 90 days that resulted in a savings of
more than $275M over eight years.
From 2000 to 2003, Gray served as the Vice President of Supply Chain Operations at 3Com where he drove the total supply chain costs to 40% below best-in-class benchmarks and increased inventory turns by more than 50%. While directing the Manufacturing Programs Management Group, Gray co-led a successful 3Com $75M SAP implementation and also drove inventory down $400M over four quarters while supporting 15% sales growth, in an otherwise flat market.
Gray served as Lead Advisor for Sun Nuclear Corporation’s Advisory Board and is currently an active member of the Advisory Board for Ioterra.
Gray served for eight years as a member of the Executive Advisory Board for the University of Wisconsin’s Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management.
