In his nearly 60 year career in the financial services industry, Fred has been an active part of the success of his clients’ portfolios and continues to be a trusted and loyal advisor. Understanding clients’ concerns, building sufficient liquidity into programs, developing asset allocations that fit the client’s objectives and tolerance for risk, evaluating money managers, and screening and recommending alternative investments to meet stated objectives are the tools he uses to build trusted relationships.
After receiving his BA in Economics, and his MBA from Stanford, Fred entered the investment banking field. He gradually transitioned to mostly managing his clients’ investments. He has worked in management at well-established firms, such as Drexel Burnham Lambert and Morgan Stanley.
Fred is also very active in his community, both professionally and personally,Including serving as a Securities Industry of America-Member, the ExecutiveCommittee of California group Kappa Beta Phi-President, the Spring StreetForum-President, former-chairman of Stanford Business School Trust, theBeverly Hills Education Foundation, Teach for America/Los Angeles, StanfordWestside Club, Founding-Chairman of the Center for the Partially Sighted, and the American Jewish Committee(AJC)-Member National Governing Board (NYC) and the Los Angeles Regional chapter of the AJC.
Fred is a fourth generation Angeleno, and resides in the Brentwood area of LosAngeles. He is married with three children and four grandchildren. His wife, Susie, has two grown children and four grandchildren. His interests includes tennis, skiing, sailing, photography, movies, and reading.
