I am a Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) and have over 15 years of industry experience. I started my career as a Financial Advisor in 2001 at Smith Barney, then joined Wells Fargo Advisors in 2016. I am currently a Managing Director - Investments and a PIM Portfolio Manager for Wells Fargo Advisors in Pasadena.

What I can offer you
Over the course of my career, I have been guided by the philosophy of Kaizen, or continuous improvement. From the various degrees and certifications, I have earned to the numerous seminars and summits I attend, I do all I can to constantly improve myself so as to best serve my clients’ various needs. Through my experience as a Financial Advisor I have had the pleasure of serving multiple generations of client families. Listening closely to the markets and analysts across the industry, my approach to working with clients is based on one simple objective; helping clients achieve their most important financial goals. Guided by the financial planning process and client circumstances and aspirations, my holistic strategies include investment planning, investment management, liability and insurance recommendations.
Additionally, I am a qualified Private Investment Management (PIM) Portfolio Manager who, in addition to providing traditional advice and guidance, can help clients pursue their objectives by building and managing my own personalized strategies. These incorporate individual stocks and bonds, and alternative investments. I am an ardent reader and employ a combination of both Wells Fargo Advisors research as well as independent, outside research to provide the best possible information and research into investment selection for client portfolios.
A little about myself
My passion for investing truly started when I was 27 when I read the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad. That book changed my perspective on wealth, I had always assumed that becoming wealthy meant simply working harder. Learning the simple concepts of financial planning and investing showed me not just how to become wealthy myself but how to help others become wealthy and financially secure.
I am an avid volunteer. I am a past member of the Endowment Committee for St. Philip School and I recently served as the chairperson for White Memorial Hospital's annual golf tournament. Recently, my son Quentin and I were fortunate enough to have a life-changing experience. We traveled to Tecate, Mexico with other Loyola High School students and dads to help build a home for a family in a very underprivileged community. My family and I also regularly volunteer at the Union Rescue Mission in downtown Los Angeles where the goal is to help men, women, and children experiencing homelessness so they can get off the streets and find their way home.
I am also a passionate youth sports coach in my spare time as well. I have been a volunteer coach for the Pasadena Trojans Pop Warner youth football program since 2005 and have coached St. Philip Boys Varsity Basketball team since 2009. In the past, I also have coached for the YWCA, AYSO, and the Brotherhood Crusade youth sports programs for many years.
I am a southern California native having grown up in nearby Eagle Rock and fortunately, I am surrounded by my entire family. My mom and dad still live in the home I grew up in. My wife Connie and I are new empty-nesters with our daughter Ciana recently graduating from the University of Utah and our son Quentin, a sophomore at Loyola Marymount University.
